The following text should also be considered expired: I've been a Design Lead/ACD for the 11 years, the past three years at the in-house advertising and marketing dept. at The Wall Street Journal. I/we do campaigns, social, identities, collateral, strategy, print, digital, writing, storyboarding, websites, concept development, environmental / events. Much of the work balances the heritage with the emerging. The work at times moves from full masthead to badge. Uses more of the secondary typeface. Introduces more color. I ask myself: Whats the most possible in something? And then reduce (or expand) to what is most useful, purposeful, needed. The universal features are provocation, play, challenge to offer the audience an opportunity to participate in some way, to contribute, to at least take notice.
